A motorcyclist had struck a white Ford Expedition on Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Valley Glen. He was traveling north on that road and hit the Ford when it was making a U-turn. The man was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead.
It seems as if either the driver of the white Ford or the motorcyclist did not see each other before the collision. It’s more likely that the Ford may have been at fault assuming that the motorcyclist was going straight on the road because cars waiting to turn left or make a U-turn must yield to vehicles traveling straight.
It is sad that the man had died from the collision regardless of whose fault it was. Motorcycle accidents are dangerous and often they result in serious injuries for the rider.
